Is there any programs for single parents with bad/poor credit to buy a home for the first time? Just sick of throwing away 1000/month renting

Hello,
The first thing that I like to say is never try and prequalify yourself. I have FHA programs that go down to 580 with 3.5% down, and I even have the Nevada Home is Possible program with a 640 FICO score that grants you up to 4% toward your down payment and closing cost. Call me today and I will be more than happy to go through all of your scenarios. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your business, and let me know if you have any questions!

@Tazurit1969 We are the Everett Group at Simply Vegas Real Estate. I have a great lender who can help point you in the right direction. Send me an email at EverettGroupLV@gmail.com. I have a client right now in the same position. She was just pre-approved to purchase a home and is getting down payment assistance as well as a portion of her closing costs paid for through a special program. We would love to help. Send us an email and we can connect you with our lender. Have a great day!

What is on your credit report that gives you bad/poor credit. Those creditors will NOT go away when you buy a house, and once they find something of value they can attach, your creditors will still want their money. Try to clesar up your credit first

"Bad/poor" credit is a relative term. Have a reputable lender run your credit and look over your financials. From there they can explain your financing options. Be sure to ask about down payment assistance programs and grants. The "Home is Possible" program can give you up to 4% toward your down payment and it is a grant that you do not need to pay back. Also a good RE agent can get the sellers to pay for your closing costs. between these two factor you may be able to walk into a new home with little to nothing down.

Please let me know If you would like to speak to the lenders we work with. Once you are approved I would be glad to help you look at homes and help you create a solid investment plan.

If you would like me to send you listings in the meantime so that you can see what is available please send me your buying search criteria here: http://www.lvrealestatehelp.com/buying-real-estate.html

I look forward to hearing from you!

First, great question. Second, I specialize in working with "credit challenged" buyers. I was credit challenged, myself, and found a way. I agree heartily with your comment of "Sick of throwing away $1,000 per month renting".

This website makes a case for buying vas renting and also has over 800 homes for sale at or below the rent you are already spending!

Hope to hear from you. I would like to help you to make sure you get all the downpayment help, low interest rates, and best home available!

Yes there are Grants that can help you and State money as well. You will need to start or continue to pay all bills on time. I know of a few lenders that work with public assistance. Call or email me and we can discuss more in detail and I can point you in the right direction! Raina Musser

I can help you by getting you started with my preffered lender. What we offer is a free credit repair service to get your credit cleaned up and getting your scores to go up. We walk you through the process and let you know exactly what needs to be done in order for you to be able to qualify for a home loan within the next 3 to 6 months.

Contact me if you would like more information and get you started. The sooner you start the sooner we can get you into your new home.

I am really sorry. I don't know of any programs to help you. My best advice is to clean up your credit and save some money for a downpayment. At least you are getting a roof over your head for that $1000/mo.
