Is there any new construction planning on being built in the Framingham area sometime this year? Our max budget is around 600k.

I made a few calls to some listing (seller) agents that have new construction listings on the market that have gone under agreement to see if those developers/builders have plans for any more.
I think I may have found a nice option in Framingham that is not on the market for sale yet.

Natick will be a little more expensive so expect the inventory to be smaller unless you consider townhouses.

Hi Vicki,

Something that may be worth a look are homes that contractors purchase and completely renovate. although they are not new construction, they certainly seem new.

As probably with most agents here, I have covered those areas and others in the Metrowest market for the past 17 years. I would call the building department and see what building permits are pending.

Hi Vicky. If you would consider the beautiful community of Grafton, not too far from Framingham, you can build an incredible home! Framingham and its abutting towns could be tough but there are plenty of viable options!

There is a brand new development going in on the North side of Framingham. I am not sure what the price point is going to be, but I have seen other work by this builder and his work is beautiful. Please give me a call or email me to discuss further.

Hello, yes there will be some new construction coming on the market in Framingham. However, the truth of the matter is that Framingham has very little available land for new construction. Therefore, I would not expect a significant number of new homes being built. Have you considered towns close to Framingham is is that a must?

There are homes being built now. I am sure with the improvement in the market and consumer confidence rising, as will the Builders' confidence and more construction would be built. Have you consulted a mortgage person to establish what you will need for down payment, closing costs etc? If you have a criteria in mind the search can be consolidated very easily.

I'm not sure if you've considered living outside of Framingham, however if you have I would suggest you look into Brigham Hill Estates III, in Hudson. We have approximately 40 new construction homes being built. Each home sits on approximately 3/4 of an acre. We have several Floor Plans to choose from and will also consider custom builds if you have a specific floor plan in mind.

I also have a new construction home available under $500K in Hudson as well - located on the Hudson/Sudbury Town line. This home is a great value as it included many upgrades in the offering that you would be paying extra for in the sub-division. The neighborhood, "Hudbury" as it is commonly called is also highly sought after because of its proximity to Historic Sudbury. Below is the link to the listing as marketed on Trulia.

Also, we would be interested in any tear downs or land that we can purchase and build a house on. As long as we don't exceed our budget of 600k.
We would want it to be in a good area.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much to responding to the email.
My husband and I are open to look at some of the surrounding towns such as Natick, Sudbury and so on. I think Framingham would be the furthest west that we would go since we both work in the Boston area.

I have seen all the new construction that is out there at the moment and have seen that these homes are bought pretty quickly. We would love to be in somewhat of a neighborhood feel but I know this is hard in these areas.

I have been researching on framingham.gov and natick.gov to see if there are any new building permits out there in the past but I haven't found much.
