Bob,

School district boundaries can be confusing at best. Many people have been dissapointed by relying on false information or what they thought the boundaries were. Don't make this mistake......The best source of accurate information is the school district itself. They will be able to provide you with the information you need.

Good luck

I have a website for my clients with an interactive map search that shows school district boundaries (as county, zip code, and a few others) and the properties for sale in those areas. Not every area is covered, but if you follow the link below I can enroll you on the website and you can check it out!

Hello Bob,
From visiting my website listed below you will be able to gather the information you're looking for. Once on the website click on "buying your home", which should be just below the main banner, then you can click on school or community information. The school information will give you more information on what schools are in what districts. You should also be able to find where the boundary lines lie as well from the school districts webistes... If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me directly as I am very familiar with Hinsdale, especially since I went to Hinsdale Central High School some time ago!
Best of Luck,
Dan

There usually are maps on the internet for the various school district areas.... Often they are very hard to read...
here is an example for the hinsdale school distr. map
http://www.hinsdale86.org/PublishingImages/district86-map.jpg

If you are a buyer and you have determined a property you are interested to buy, make sure you do call the superintendent's office and you make sure that they will find out for you which school district your property falls into, and also ask if there are any changes intended, as they sometimes need to do so to accommodate a larger amount of children etc. You can google the school districts sites by town name or school district
numbers, but it is safest to double check with them directly once you have an address in mind.
Hope this helps...
