Sure, go do some leg work; you can go to the city or county records department and pull the files. People do this daily; it's public information as soon as the deed is recorded. There are also companies who sell this information to anyone willing to pay for it.

Sounds like you want to solicit these people...you really should do your own work.

Real Estate Agents join and pay dues to GLVAR to get this information. That's why a good buyers agent will get you a better deal than going it alone.

My real estate broker has that information. He uses that information for his clients. That's how real agents agents make a living.

For what purpose?

Do you have an agent that you are working with?

Like what David said - finding a real estate agent with the Realtor designation means that s/he has full access to MLS and other tools normally not available.

Dawn, well said and I agree with you, even if its not about safety, why do these agents like to give valuable information FREE to someone that wants to practice RE without having to go through what we did....what kind of business do you expect from these people who is trying to learn by picking our brain...your not gonna get anything from these people. And protect our buyers and sellers out there for sure.

It is very scary to me that people on this site are so willing or is it desperate to give out information to complete strangers on this website . You have no idea who these people are or why they are asking these questions , yet you are so desperate that you willingly give addresses to sellers properties and tell complete strangers to go drive buy or give names and addresses without even knowing why the person wants them . Has it become so desperate that people on this website are willing to compromise the safety of others ? I'm talking about safety of our own buyers and sellers and safety of the people on this site . I am also talking in general and not just this question. Lately I've read about so many people willing to give information that could potentially be dangerous to either party . Please think about what you're doing . Thanks

Hi Dawn,

You should try to network with a the marketing agent from a local escrow company. You might be able to find someinformation there. Also there are public tax records you can check online.

Good luck!

Sounds like this is a job for a detective not a Realtor. If you are looking to purchase or sell a home Reaktors have many tools that can help with demographics , market fluctuations and comps . Some tools have the neighbors names listed . But if your just nosing around you should hire a detective or go on the county recorders site and look up the addresses one by one . Once the property has been recorded it becomes public record . Hope that helps.
