Tammy, Home Buyer in Collin County, TX

Is there a big market difference between a two car garage and a three car garage in North Texas Plano area. If the mojority of the homes are three car

Asked by Tammy, Collin County, TX Tue Nov 8, 2011

The neighborhood mostly has three car garage homes. Would a house with only two but other attributes be harder to sell?

Shouldn't be harder to sell if your home is priced right with that in mind. Many would be willing to give up the 3rd car to get into a great neighborhood, if they feel they are getting a fair deal on price. Let me know if I can help you further.

Harder to sell? Not necessarily. It all depends on what type of home is being bought/sold. If the home is a 6 bedroom home, a 3 car garage would be nice. But then again, a home theater would be nice too. If your home has a theater and a 2 car garage as opposed to no theater and a 3 car garage, is there really any difference?

It all depends on the home buyer and what their needs and situation are.

If you would like a detailed market analysis for a particular property, I'd be happy to take a look for you.
