The $8,000 Tax Credit has been a huge incentive and a monster stimulant in helping stabilize this economy. I highly doubt they will announce an extention of the credit to keep the pressure on buyers to stay active in the market. Home Builders, Realtors, Appraisers, Inspectors, etc. are lobbying to extend the credit... without it I think housing sales will digress... Housing got us into this mess and it will also have to get us out of it... it only makes sense that they extend it...
