Is the f.h.a. stipulation 10 year warranty on new homes gone?

Michael,

FHA doesn't specifically require a 10 year warranty on new construction, however they accept a 10 year warranty in place of the initial inspection. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me.

I would have to agree with the last post I had never heard of the with FHA. Maybe check out there website for info.

I never heard of such a stipulation to begin with. I know there is one required with VA, but have not heard of such a thing with FHA. However what builder doesnt offer a 10 year warranty anyways. Not sure I would want my clients going with such a builder.
