Hi Courtney.... As in ANY zipcode, you will find those areas you don't feel right in and others you do. Based upon previous answers, you've received some good websites to research upon so I don't need to repeat them. No zipcode is perfect and no zipcode is wrong. It comes down to what you are looking for and what you can afford to live in. I wish I could or was allowed to say yes or no. My best suggestion to you is to look at homes that fit your needs and then drive through those areas at various times of day to make up your own mind. I will tell you, that as far as schools, you ARE looking at Wake County. At this point, there really aren't any defined schools per a any zipcode...but..Wake County does have a Magnet School program so you could decide on any of those and apply for it. If accepted..only thing is you may have to provide transportation to that school yourself.

If there is is anything I can personally do to assist you, please don't hesitate to contact me. For more school information or to search for homes in any zipcode, please check out my website at http://www.RaleighHomeSite.com .

Courtney,

I don't know of any Realtor who would give you a straight "yes" or "no" answer to this question as it could possibly put them in jeopardy of something called "steering" in the real estate world. Now what you will find is most Realtors will provide you with information to help you make an informed and educated decision on your own. For instance below are some sites you might find helpful.

1. http://www.familywatchdog.us/
(Family Watchdog is a free service to help locate registered sex offenders in a specific area)

2. http://www.greatschools.org/
(GreatSchools is the leading national source of school performance information for parents, reaching 41 million unique visitors and 44% of American families with children)

3. http://www.city-data.com/city/Raleigh-North-Carolina.html
(Provides statistics of all types on specific areas and cities)

4. https://www.crimereports.com/
(another fun interactive mapping program that allows you to view multiple types or a specific category of crime(s) in a specific locale)

I hope this helps you out. Please let me know if you require more information on anything.
