You will need to speak with the Cities Planning Department. They will be able to disclose any requirements to you as well as the process you will have to follow. If you do submit an offer on the property that is accepted I recommend that you hire a licensed company to inspect the septic tank and to give you an estimate on the cost of removing the tank and connecting to the sewer. You will want to complete these inspections during your due dilligence period before you remove your contingencies. Speak with your Realtor as they will be able to explain the due dilligence period and help you set a game plan. Good luck!
