Mr. Hoffman I live in the Proper and can honestly say that I am more than happy here. I bought an older home eight years ago and yes, it is a "work in progress" but, I love it here. It is a great place to raise your children and the schools in the area are fantastic. I have never felt safer than I feel living in the Proper. You are minutes from the beach, the post office, dry cleaners, grocery, Pensacola and wonderful restaurants. We also have an incredible park with tennis courts, basketball, baseball for the kids, pilates/yoga classes, etc. There is even a dog park. If you fish, you can have your boat in the water in a very short time at the public boat ramp that is located near the park. Gulf Breeze Proper has a very homey, down to earth feel. At just about any given time of day, you can look out your door and see someone walking, biking, pushing a stroller or running. I hope I have helped with your decision.

Gulf Breeze all the way!! Think it depends on your budget. You will get more bang for your buck outside of Proper. If money is no concern go with the Proper. If you are under $200K you could be looking at an older home that needs work. Call if I can help.

Navarre is another great choice when looking in the area. Santa Rosa County's schools are wonderful and the area is a little more relaxed and homey feeling. I live here in Navarre and find it quite enjoyable, short drive over the bridge to the beach, just down from Pensacola malls and Mary Esther mall.

You will love to live in Gulf Breeze Proper, and I think you are going to find that home prices in Gulf Breeze are not significantly higher than most other surrouding areas. Gulf Breeze is between Navarre and Pensacola, and is a very nice area close to the beaches. The area is not real built up--sort of a "suburb" of Pensacola. A large part of this area of the Gulf Coast is very safe and mostly newer homes. I can assist you in getting an outstanding agent in that area if you contact me.
