I too have a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath town home, 1100+ sq ft built in 2003 in a gated community just off of Univeristy Parkway and West of I-75, lake view, near new shopping and where the new mall will be located! Send me a note directly if you would like me to send you a link to the unit, it is listed at $100k even and is a short sale, in great condition! Also, heated community pool, exercise facility, tot lot, gated and very near public tennis courts!

Yes, I have a 2/2 furnished condo for sale in Sarasota well under $100,000. I've been transferred out of state and have found something I want to purchase, so have reduced price for quick sale and owner financing is available.

The condo is just under 900 sq ft, fully furnished in a complex with pool, small gym and excellent location. Has lots of closet space, a separate dining room and small patio. You can close off guest bed/bath from rest of condo. Plenty of parking with one space right outside your back door. Within a mile in every direction of restaurants, grocery, retail, post office, etc. Beautiful siesta key beach appx 5 miles away. Located between Bee Ridge and Clark/Stickney Point. close to hwy 41. GREAT LOCATION!! Convenient to everything.

This is PRICED TO SELL. You can own this cheaper than you can rent. It is being offered AS-IS.

Will be listing it in a week or two my Realtor. So contact me as soon as you can if this sounds interesting to you.

You must see to believe this incredible deal.

yes it is possible, however mary in regards to the condition of home you may not like. Condos, you are looking at something somewhat updated maybe, under 1000 sq. ft. max and if pets are an issue this could vary for some condos do not allow pets of any kinds, not all but some
if you go out east a little i know of condos for sure under 100,000 but you are closer to the interstate, if you are looking in downtown sarasota, a little harder to find but you can
in regards to home, most will be either short sales or bank-owned and almost all will need work of somekind so if you are looking for a move in home, no will not find that, but you will find a home, more than likely built in the 1950's-1980's 2 bedroom plus anywhwere from 900 sq. ft. to maybe 1400 sq. ft. but all will need work. if you are open to doing work than for sure
let me know if you need help
I deal alot in short sales and bank owned but the process is alot longer so if you are looking to close in a month or 2 not happening more like 3-6 month.

Hi Mary,

Yes, it is possible. Here are some properties available that you might find interesting: (Click below)

I'm a relocation specialist with Michael Saunders & Co. You said you were unfamiliar with the area. Sarasota is known as Florida's Cultural Coast, home to the renowned Florida West Coast Symphony, the Sarasota Ballet, and the Asolo Theater for the Performing Arts as well as many more theater venues and art galleries. In downtown Sarasota, Main Street offers dozens of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. Throughout the year, there are many special events including live music, art festivals, various shows and parades.

For sun and beach lovers, there are 35 miles of beaches including world-famous Siesta Key beach known for having the whitest sand in the world. And nowhere in the world will you find more gorgeous sunsets than on Florida's West Coast jewel of Sarasota.

For golfers, the metro Sarasota area including Manatee and Sarasota County offers over 80 golf courses ranging from public courses to the most challenging public and private courses. There are golf courses to challenge every level of player, many with golf course communities surrounding them. Boaters, day-sailors, scuba divers and fishermen will love the Sarasota offerings of every conceivable water sport.

Sarasota also offers the widest possible variety of residential properties from downtown high-rise condos and penthouses to golf course communities and waterfront homes in every price range and to meet every imaginable desire you may have. The island communities of Siesta key, Lido Key, Longboat key and Casey Key each offer their own unique lifestyles. St. Armands Circle, with its upscale shops and boutiques, offers some of the most elegant shopping in Florida.

While some may think of Orlando when they think of the major attractions of Florida, many people choose to live in the metropolitan area around Sarasota attracted by its lower level of congestion, more leisurely lifestyle and its diversity of cultural, dining and sports offerings. When relatives come to visit, they take daytrips to Orlando which is an easy 2 hour drive from Sarasota. In addition, the Tampa Bay area including St. Petersburg is just one-hour drive away.

Providing you with helpful information on the Sarasota real estate market and on homes and condos for sale in your price range on the Sarasota real estate market is my goal.

All my best,

Debbie Dunnick

Hi Mary,

YES, YOU CAN!

Having said that many of the properties in that price range are either short sales or bank owned properties. Some are very nice, some need a little TLC.

Bankowned propertes are a little scarce right now but according to what we hear there should be more coming onto the market soon.

Definitely NOW is a very good time to buy if you are seriously interested.
All the best, Margaret

Hi Mary - it is absolutely possible. I work with many clients in that price range and can tell you offhand the best places depending on lifestyle. Feel free to call me 941-737-9189 or check out http://www.TrueSarasota.com . I could send you a link but there would be thousands oof properties - would rather narrow it down for you!
