If you are unable to obtain a conventional loan, then I can also help you find a home that is offer seller financing. This is where the seller becomes the bank and you make your monthly mortgage payment to the seller or a servicing company. As others have indicated, the first step is to find an experienced loan officer and not necessarily with a "regular bank", as they only have their own loans to offer. This is compared to a mortgage broker or banker, such as myself, whom have multiple lenders to go to which may have a loan program you need.
