I have been looking at the listings and found a lot of short sales in the $50k range that are interesting I inquired about one of them and found out it was Chinese dry wall. What are the disadvantages of short sales, what should i watch for and are there realtors who are experts in it? I also want to buy a property in Orlando. Are there realtors who serve both markets?

As others have said it's a great time to buy and rent. The rental market here is soaring. One way to guarantee a renter, would be to purchase one with a tenant already in place. I would be happy to search for you. There are neighborhoods that are very well sought out for rentals and they go quickly. Let me know if I can help.
Have a great day,
Look forward to hearing from you and wishing you the best in the new year!
some folks prefer the newer communities with lots of amenites, some go for more distressed neighborhood where they get a better return on their investment (as long as the tenants are good, pay their rent and don't trash the place).
Either extreme or in the middle, I am here to help you find an investment that will work for you.
