Hello, it depends on the section of Lefferts Garden and whether you're talking about a co-op or condo because they differ significantly in price. If it's the historical area then you may have hit the jackpot depending on the unit and the condition.

If you have a real estate agent, the agent should be able to research comps in the area to know the recents sales for this type of unit in this area. This way, if you are priced in the market then you can only counter but so much. When you have an inspection report to try to get your price down if there are any major renovations or repairs to be be done.

I hope this answer has helped you.

the price is o.k but prices are sinking, the historical part of lefferts garden is between fennimore and lefferts street but has hardly any apartments ,it really only concerns houses, the nicest street is maple and rutland, that agent who answered your question as all of them has no clou and just tries to suck you in.a whole brownstone on 190 maple was for example purchased for 80000 dollars in fair condition at an auction this summer while the price for one in rutland is a million,of course nobody is stupid enough to pay that.banks are loaded with properties and don't want to pay taxes on them,if i were you i'd offer no more then 100000.

Hello, definitely this is a great price for a renovated studio. There are studios in Old Mill Basin that are smaller and cost $110,000 fully renovated for about the same size. So I don't think it's a bad deal, but you have to know exactly where you're located in Lefferts Garden to get the value. There's an historic part of Lefferts Garden that increases value, since I don't know the address I can't give you a solid answer.
