Is 1100 dollars typical for a coop application WITH a dog or just plain outrageous?

Hi, I've sold and shown alot of coops and have never seen an application fee even close to $1,100. As the other stated the dog won't change the application fee.

Hi -- I live in a coop that allows a dog and the application fee is the same whether or not you have a pet. If you are applying to rent a coop (as opposed to buying it), perhaps they are adding on a deposit in case the dog causes damages? It seems higher than normal. I recommend that you call the managing agent -- or ask your agent to -- and inquire what is specifically included in that fee.

Dear Eai23,
I am not sure of the coop you are speaking of. Are you looking at the mait on the coop and think ing this is a application fee? I would need more info. I do not know of any coop that charges more for application because they have dogs.
Here to help.
