Is an offer of $220,000 too much for a 600 sq. foot 1 bedroom/1 bath condo in Mission Hills?

Is it new construction? or a conversion? If its new, maybe...if its a conversion, absolutely not. Just make sure you dont get a cave with a lackluster view or location.

Dear M.
I specialize in the Mission Hills area for the last 9 years including Hillcrest. It all depends on the complex and where in Mission Hills it's located. Just like every community, there are some areas that are considered more desirable than others. Email me with the address and I'll let you know. I live and work in Mission Hills/Hillcrest area so I know it extremely well. You can use my website below too to search around. No registration required. No pressure. M,
You can look at http://www.realtor.com and check the statistics at http://sandicor.com/statistics.html for the Mission Hills zip code. The site will give you average/median list and sale prices, days on market and months of inventory and should give you an idea of what is happening in that zip code. I do think that you should also consider getting your own appraisal ( I can give you a good referral), so that you wont' be relying just on statistics. Your Realtor should also be able to help and lastly, you can call our customer service department 619.521.3478 and get any sales comps they may show (for free-just mention my name). Hi M,
It depends on the home and the comparables in the area. Mission Hills is a great area and that might not be too high, however it depends on the condition of the home, location. If you are working with a licensed realtor they should run comps and tell you what the property is worth. If you need any help and are not working with a realtor, please don't hesitate to call me (760)815-3866.
