Is a home in the Four Seasons development in north Palm Springs a good long term investment?

I see very nice models and units there at low costs. I know wind is a concern people warn me of. But the structures seem so well built and the development has great amenities. I'm torn between these newer homes up in the north part of town, and older less insulated ones in the south end of town. Thanks for your advice.

At the current prices, this development should be an excellent long term investment. The market is stabilizing and our inventory is very low currently. With the low interest rates and today's prices, it's an excellent time to make a purchase.

Good morning David,
The Four Seasons is popular for the reasons that you discribe. It is also attractive because it is 55+ which is unique in Palm Springs single family home developments. The values are down because of the general market and because the developer is still building and is offering great incentives. There are also people who do not want an older home and are more secure owning a newer home with fewer potential maintenance issues.
Thanks,
