Home Buyer, Elizabeth, NJ
yes, its legit, but they sell forclosed homes, you must check for liens, city code deparment and you are responsible for obtaining certificate of occupancy prior to moving in, make sure to have appraiser look at the property and hold the security deposit until you know you can obtain c/0 this is standard for people buying forclosure properties and is not for a novice buyer, they resell this properties at auction if they don't find a buyer which is also standard. otherwise they are very nice, do not expect a move in property as with all reo sales the buyer assumes the risk, they work with you if you have very poor credit and cant afford a mortgage. and sell property via land contract quit claim deed which is for people who don't qualify for standard mortgage. also check out ACC mortgage they have second chance program regardless of credit score and check out RECA properties which runs a similar program on REO properties and Rose Acceptance who finance their REO properties inhouse. Good Luck.
