Is Rochdale considered a good neighborhood? Which Queens neighborhood is it comparable to?

I like a house in Rochdale but I am from Brooklyn and not familiar with the neighborhood. Is there anything I need to know before buying? What do you think of the area?

Rochdale is a massive co-op complex in south Queens and it is not desirable, to put it mildly.
