My family has lived in Myers Meadow for 20 years-we bought the first home built in the neighborhood. The people are absolutely great and the neighborhood offers everything a family could ask for, with the exception of a community pool. There are two beautiful playgrounds for young children, a large pond with fountain and a smaller pond, two tennis courts, bike trails through nature preserve, sidewalks throughout, two large grassy community areas, and the whole neighborhood is hidden from Southlake Blvd by large rolling hills and beautiful landscaping. Homes are around 4,000sqft and run in the low 400,000s. I highly recommend Myers Meadow for raising a family or retiring!

Myers Meadow is a great neighborhood! It contains about 245 large homes with spacious rooms and open floorplans. This neighborhood has easy access to Southlake Blvd. with maturing, large trees blocking Southlake Blvd traffic on the south side of the neighborfhood. Most of the yards are large, most contain pools. Emenities of the neighborhood are tennis courts, a lake with ducks and a fountain and a walking path around it. Then, there are 2 playgrounds in the neighborhood. The Southlake Carroll school district is totally exemparary and there are several private schools close by. The special education program in the Carroll ISD has been enjoyed by several of my clients also. I usually see these homes are well taken care of but they are getting in need of modernization on some cases as are several neighborhoods built in the 1990's in Southlake. I believe the value of these homes is excellant and home price in Southlake seems to have risen faster than homes in other cities close by. Shopping, town center and bicentennial sports parks are all within minutes. Then DFW airport and lake Grapevine are within 20 minutes but you are not bothered by airport noise. If you want a large home in a prestigious city, in an exemplarary school district, located close to everything you might want, Myers Meadow would be one of the neighborhoods I would steer you to. It depends on your long term goals. If you have kids, you'd be able to get into the best school district in North Texas for cheaper, and the neighborhood is just down the street from the Senior High School. The neighborhood is a bit older, so not all of the houses will be updated. If you're looking for a newer home, Myers Meadow would not be the place to look. But for a great neighborhood for not as much money, it's a great place. Call me anytime at 817-903-5442 to discuss it. I've had a lot of friends who lived in there, and they loved it.

Since myers meadow is the low end of southlake, do you think it's wise to buy a home here? You know the saying 'dont buy the biggest home or the smallest home in the neighborhood"

Myers Meadow is a phenomenal neighborhood. I grew up just down the street from there! Call me anytime at 817-903-5442 to discuss properties in Myers Meadow, or Southlake in general.
