I don't understand why you are throwing questions like that out here on a website where a bunch of real estate agents will give you off the wall answers. Some of them will even write in from other states!
What you need is professional advice from a Realtor who is an expert on the Hurst community, and the area surrounding it. You are asking subjectinve questions, and you need personal, one-on-one advice. Call an Agent who has been selling the River Trails area since it was first built. Call a Realtor who has an office in Hurst, or lives in that area. And if you are thinking of buying a house there, you REALLY need a personal buyer's representative to sit down and consult with you!
I am available.
Best of luck!

It always depends on what your definition of a good community is.
What people like is that it is surrounded by trees.
It feels a little like country living in the city.
Access to major freeways
New or newer homes for the area.
What people dont like is the traffic.
Location away from stores.
Street conditions nearby.
There must be some crime, hence the signs at the front of the community.
There's always demand at the right price.
