Indeed, it was sold for $180k as a fixer/reo/building condamned by the city - transaction closed 05/26/09. It needs everything (rebuilding) but the location is prime & fabulous ... one or two (not same condition) still available in that greater area ...
Buyer got a steal. Sold for $180,000. Unless it's an infested house with mold, broken foundation, on a fault line, etc, this is a DEAL.
Anyone know why this house is "condemned" or if its even repairable? $264,900 is attractive for Berkeley Hills.
It sold for $450,000 at the end of October. While I don't know the extent of any structural damage the buyer took on for that price - the price is consistent with about8-10 years ago for that location and that size house. let me know if you have other questions. Liz
