Is Gulf Gate a nice neighborhood for families with children?

Asked by Kelly556, Florida Tue Jul 24, 2012

I had previously posted a question about looking for an affordable family friendly neighborhood near downtown Sarasota because our family likes the "city feel". After researching online it seems that the Gulf Gate area, although further from downtown, has it's own shops, restaurants, etc. and it sounds like a nice neighborhood. We are going to Sarasota next week to check out a few areas and I am wondering if Gulf Gate is a nice area for families with children? Our budget would be $150-$175 range. We definitely need a safe neighborhood with good schools.

Dear Kelly,
You've made a very informed choice in selecting the Sarasota area to live. I am very familiar with the Gulf Gate community and you'll find it close to shops, location for easy acess to Siesta Beach and the downtown area. The community is family friendly and in your price range. Properties are well kept and offer a lot for your dollar.
If you would like to know more feel free to contact me so we can take your search a step further.

Congratulations on selecting the Sarasota area for your family relocation needs. There are a number of great family oriented locations that you may investigate during your visit to the area. One that shouldn't be overlooked is Lake Sarasoata. It's a convenient location with a number of properties in your price range.

We would be happy to entertain your questions.

Good luck,
