Condos are selling at great prices in Atlanta and in Avondale Estates and there are deals to be had, for sure.

But what do you mean by investment? Are you looking for a place to live in that you will be able to sell at a higher price in the future?

Or, are you looking for a place to buy and rent out? Condo complexes can only rent out a certain percentage of the units in the building. And for the past year plus, every complex in Atlanta I've come across has been at its maximum with a long waiting list to be able to rent out your unit.

If you are looking for a place to live in, The Condos of Avondale Estates would be a good fit for you. But if you are looking to buy and rent out, then a single family home is the way to go.

It definitely is being reinvigorated. I am a native Atlantan and Avondale Estates has always been this unusual oasis of a little town. It is undergoing a renaissance in that you are in Dekalb County, no city of Atlanta taxes yet close to the city and also Decatur and 285. It is a great area to live in.
