What percentage of asking price is the bank likely to accept? Do single family homes rent well seasonally?

The McGregor Corridor has a wide variety of interesting options with several foreclosed homes currently for sale.

The last foreclosure home off McGregor that my buyer wanted was listed for 54,900 and sold for 78,000. Some go for a little less than asking. depend on if there is a bidding war. Generally, the banks are pricing them to sell within 30 days. I have known people who rent their homes seasonally fairly easily.

LIsa: its a case per case situation. It can range from 92% to over the asking price. Each of the foerclosures I have been involved in, and because the CMA showed that it was already way under market value, these homes went from $ 5k over to $25K over asking price.Depends what the asking price is.
Chances if you look for a foreclosure in the great area of Mc Gregor Blvd/Historic Distric for example it will have multiple offers and you better move fast and give your strongest offer off the bat. That would be over the asking price.Depends where exactly you are buying along McGregor. Its a long Blvd..
Of course I would have to see the property myself to make a more precise determination.
good luck with yur McGregor search,
