Debbie,
There is a second, smaller 9 hole executive golf course located within the private gated community of Hideaway Beach. If that happened to be the course you are refering to, than the answer would be yes, you do have to be a member. By purchasing a home within Hideaway you are automatically subject to an annual fee of $10,712 which will include the use of the golf course.

Hi Debbie,
As others have stated...the answer is no. In terms of helping you to find what you're looking for,we can create a search program that will automatically send you info/visual tours on prospective properties. Many people we work with find this to be helpful prior to buying since they can get a feel for the market before making the investment. Feel free to call me anytime.

The Country Club on Marco nIsland is Private and seperate from property ownership. You are not required to join if you live on the course. The golf course lots are some of the nicer inland lots as they are much larger than the normal Marco Island lot and some have spectacular views. I think homes on the course can be a good value.

If you would like further information on Marco Properties please contact me or utilize my web site http://www.Ken-Lowe.com as a serch resource. I am a full time Realtor Professional in the Prudential Florida Realty office on Marco Island. I believe this is an opportune time to buy as our market seems to be turning the corner.

The answer is No. Island Country Club does not require you join membership in order to own a home on the golf course. If you are looking for a home, please email what homes you are interested in and I will send you available listings.
