Yes this would also be to help rehab a home. There is a home in abbotstown that has major water damage in an addition off the back of the house so I'm also wondering if they'd allow other things in with fixing the home. Thanks for all the answers

Sorry but no. The bank will only lend you the appraised value of the home. They are not going to to lend you any money to buy personal items.
The only way to borrow more is if you where going to rehab the property. And you have to provide all types of estimites and prove the value of the home after repairs is going to be the amount your borrowing.
