If a home has "contract pending" can someone still put in a offer? This is a hud home.

You can; however, it would be a back up and not primary because the home is already under contract. Your back up would come into play should the primary not close. So keep looking for your home.

Technically yes. You can put in what we would call a "back up offer". It depends on the forum the HUD home is being sold. If it's on bidselect.com then no they don't allow for that option on that site. Do you have an agent? They should be able to answer your question better. If not, I am a registered HUD agent and can help you.
