If I move to the Littleton Colorado area can I keep horses on my property?

In Colorado you can have horses on properties that 1)are zoned for horses 2) have the appropriate well permit. You must have both items, one without the other will not work.
Horses are beautiful, I hope you bring yours to Littleton soon! (I've included a link about country life in and around Denver)
