If I maintain a vacant lot, how long and how do I try to claim as abandoned, taxes are paid up but I cut the grass to help area with wild life .

I'm no attorney, but if someone is paying the taxes it's going to be hard to declare it abandoned!

Hmmn...trying to read between the lines here. No advise to you from me, just an observation even though it is conjecture. He wants to claim a lot. Sounds like an attempt at "adverse possession." He's fishing for advise so he can move to "quiet title" of someone's property (the person who is paying the taxes). That's the way I read this.
