Hi Taifa,

There are plenty of great rentals available in those areas at all different price ranges. Let me know your specifics and I can send you some rental listings.

Also, in terms of buying, if you don't have all of the funds you need just yet for the down payment and closing costs, there are several programs that can help. One of them will even give you $10,000 (not up to, but the actual $10,000) if you qualify.

Let me know if that interests you and I can send you the information or you can visit my blog on Trulia.

Happy Hunting!

Hello Taifa,
Thanks for your question.
You are looking in a phenomenal time since the interest rates are at extreme lows and you have a wide variety of homes to look through. At this time you can be buying a home for what you can be paying in rent plus you will get all the benefits that homeownership comes with.

First step is to get pre-approved by a loan officer so you know what's your maximum amount of mortgage you can get. I can assist you with that if you do not have one.
Second Step. Start looking at homes within the areas you like and the requirements you need. Feel free to visit http://www.inesdelacruz.com and you will see all the homes in NJ.
I am licensed professional that can help you throughout the whole process of buying a home.

Now is a great time to buy and if you are in a position to do so, that would be my recommendation. You would want to speak with a mortgage professional first to see what your financial situation is like. That way you'll have a realistic view of what you can afford, or if there are things you need to work on before being ready to purchase. If you want to contact me directly I can put you in touch with a great mortgage professional to get you started.

First and foremost you should be looking to buy. Which means you should pre qualify yourself. for a mortgage.
