I would like to see the average home price of Hot Springs, Arkansas, but trulia's website doesn't show this.

I noticed lots of properties have sold in Little Rock, Arkansas, but none in Hot Springs, Arkansas according to Trulia's website? Why does Trulia not list what's sold in Hot Springs? How does Trulia gather its information on its site? How can I find out what's sold in Hot Springs, besides having to depend upon a realtor, who isn't motivated to show what's sold?

A realtor must represent your best interest and as such should provide you as a buyer with any information that will help you make an informed decision. I cannot speak for trulia on this issue, but I am happy to provide my clients information on how much property has sold for in the past and any other reports that will help them. Arkansas' tax records are public and easy to access to get a full history on entire neighborhoods.

Hot Springs Village,...

Hi Vanessa,
I am John Hamilton and I work at Century 21 HSV Realty in Hot Springs Village. We are located 15 miles north of Hot Springs on Hwy 7. Our gated community is the largest in America. We have 26,000 acres with 33,000 property owners and a population of about 14,000 as opposed to Hot Springs 36,000. The answer to your question is: go to homes for sale in Hot Springs at the top of the Trulia page. On the left side of the page you will see a list of zip codes. Put in all but 71909 which is Hot Springs Village, and as you go down the left side of the page you will see median prices for homes sold. You will also see the Acg List price. If you want more specific info please email me and I'll get it for you. I have a referral business with Century 21 Elite Group in Hot Springs and we can get you the data you are searching for. Serious Realtors really do like to help people like You and we do not mind giving you good advice for you to make a reasoned decision for what ever purpose.

FIRST ANSWER

Hi Vanessa,
Earlier today I asked a question under the category of "Using Trulia" about

"Using the Trulia Real Estate Guides."

In my question, I asked about why average sales data wasn't available for certain areas. Jamie, from Trulia responded. If you search under my questions, you can see Jamie's explanation on this subject.

If I had a way to link it here I would, but I can't.

Regards,
Deborah
