I was interested in seeing a house and possibly purchasing it. I got all the info from GeorgiaMls today and

Annie Horne
Home Buyer
Atlanta, GA

when I went to inquire about the details from trulia, you informed me that it was bought on Feb 2, 2009. Now is it possible that the financial negotiations from the buyee did not go through? Why would they still list this house as "active? This is disappointing...Of course, my realtor will tell me what is going on when she calls me back I am sure.

Annie,
this market is moving at lightspeed your Realtor should give you all the tools you need to identify a property on line immediatel send it to your Realtor to check availability band run a price analysis. If all check out you both need to view the property and if you like it place a contract otherwise poof it's gone.
Real Buyers and Real Realtors have to face Reality this is new market and like ost new technology the winner is the one who has the latest tools and knows how to use them.

Annie,

It's because the data on these websites are a few days old and they aren't as interested in removing "pending" and "sold" listings as they are posting the active ones.

Your realtor is the best source of information, likely.

Good Luck!
