I want to retire in Moriarty. Do senior citizens receive any property tax discounts? Also, is Moriarty a good area to retire with a low cost of living

Yes - Torrance County does offer property tax exemptions for senior citizens, as well as veterans discounts. County tax assessors office will gladly answer any questions.

No, senior citizens do not get any tax discounts..Also there are no retirement communities in the Moriarty area..They do however have a senior center in Moriarty that do have some great events and day trips...
