Make google your best friend.
In three seconds, much shorter than the time required for you to post your question or me to post this response. the solution appeared before my eyes.
Of coures the old 'deed room' in the sub-basement of the courthouse conjures up the intrigue of a good novel.

I live out of state and was hoping to get the information on-line. Unfortunately despite spending some hours looking on Google for a solution I have not been able to find one. Thanks to everyone for their advice.

One sure way is to visit the deed room in the county clerk’s office. Good luck,
