You can approach it two ways- you CAN contact the listing agent, and they can give you basic information. However, keep in mind that the listing agent represents the seller, and will keep the seller's best interests in mind, not yours.
If you do want to buy the property, I would suggest you find a good buyer's agent who will represent you and keep your best interests in mind.
