It depends upon the state law. In Wisconsin we have something called "Procuring Cause". Since that agent showed you the home he or she has procuring cause with regard to you and that home. If you obtain assistnace from another broker and go through with the sale of that home, and the first broker finds out, AND.......... depending upon whether or not you have signed a buyer's agency agreement with the second broker, then it can get really ugly. Again it all depends upon your state laws.
