I am also from Mass and bought a lot down here in Fl in 2002. I got a home equity line to purchase the lot.
Most banks here want at least 30% but with no one buying lots right now it is hard for an appraiser to establish an accurate value. If you need any further information RE lots please feel free to contact me at bcaron@kw.com
