If you did not sign a buyer broker agreement you have no obligation to your agent and she will not get paid if you buy that condo or any other if you go through someone else.

Hi Eduardo, I do agree you should talk to your Realtor, and see if you can come to an understanding. If you cannot, and you do not ,have a buyer broker agreement you can interview other Realtors. If it comes to that you should get yourself a list of questions and talk to at least 3 other Realtor before you change. Like carl said your fico score will not be affected unless you change lenders......Dawn

Ii would like to echo Carl's response.

Please discuss your concerns with your realtor. If you are unhappy for one reason or the other, please provide that feedback. Sometimes, your lines of communications may simply need "tweaking" and your agency relationship can grow and improve as a result.

Researching properties, making appointments to see them, getting disclosures, writing the offer, following up --- all took considerable time invested by both parties. Take time to discuss your concerns with your realtor. Please. We all learn from receiving constructive criticism.

And yes, it's a matter of common courtesy.

Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

Eduardo:

Changing from one Realtor to another will not affect your fico scores unless the agent is also doing your loan and you want to switch lenders. You have the freedom to choose any Realtor you wish UNLESS you have signed an exclusive buyer/broker agreement with your existing Realtor.

Make sure you discuss this with your Realtor before you switch to give them a proper chance to respond – that is common courtesy.
