My main goal is to find Leads and turn those Leads into Dead Presidents.

I have made great connections with other Realtors.
I have picked up local Listing appointments, and Buyers from all over the Country.
Nothing has closed escrow yet, however I am optimistic.

The SEO, and self promotion are clearly worth my time.

As far as have I ever received a lead from Trulia, I don't believe so. I answer questions on a regular basis, but when I get a lead, I ask where they got my name. I have not had anyone say Trulia, but that is not why I come on here. If I get a lead, great, but if not I just enjoy coming on here once in awhile.

Guys, don't get me wrong...........
I do have:
1- buyer for 1.7 mil for single family
2- European investors
1- buyer for Gas Station
3 - first time buyer
3 - referrals out
12 listings on my own including Villas in Italy for 25 millions, and someone is talking of service.......I speak 4 languages, and brought my first house at 18.... I love what I do.
My question is not a criticism, even tough, I do not believe people just doing Trulia for the fun of answering; we all search and try to "Expose" for the good of our clients and business.
I've turned down so many buyers because lenders said..........you're prequal, and told them they couldn't afford it, turned out I was a bad guy!
........So, let's have fun,
and just out of curiosity, did anyone benefit from Trulia posting?

Yes I have connected with prospective buyers on here. My belief is that you must GIVE and be a service well before you could EVER ask for anything in return. SO that's what I do provide VALUE first, the busines always follows because the kindness of my heart comes through in my work.

I love what I do, I can't imagine ever doing anything else!

I had a very good 2007. I had no closings in January of 2008, but worked with more buyers in January than I had in the past couple of years. I have three closings scheduled over the next couple of months and am working on negotiating three offers that my listings have received.

I did get one lead from this site but that is it and the only reason I got the lead was because I was the only one to answer the phone when this client called. I was not the first Realtor they called just the only one to answer. Other than that I can say that I come on here to read and answer questions.

Im with Elvis on this one.
It is more for answering questions from buyers and sellers the best we
can without spacific information from them.

If it turns into a lead, thats always good too.

Antonio, I can't speak for others, but I'm not on Trulia answering questions because I expect to get business from here. I'm on Trulia strictly for the mental exercise, stimulation & edification of buyers, sellers and fellow Realtors

If I should get business from being on Trulia, that'd be great, but that's not one of the major reasons that I answer questions here.
