I saw a pre-foreclosure for 24,000 and I want it. What do I do?

Connie,
Here's a simple rule to go by...."If it looks too good to be true......it probably isn't." This is a situation that you, as previously advised, need to investigate further.

Good luck,

Make an offer. However, as Ute says, that's probably not the "real" price.

Hi Connie. Where did you see the pre-foreclosure listing for $24,000? If it was on Trulia, it's possible that the $24,000 is only the starting bid as opposed to a real asking price as Trulia also receives property information from RealtyTrac, which includes pre-foreclosure properties that are not on the market. Find out what the source of the listing was and make sure that the $24,000 is the real asking price. Good luck
