I recently sold a home in Washington, DC via short sale in lieu of $130,000 personal loss on the property.
Will it be difficult for me to find a home/finacing in south Lansing/Holt/Mason?

FIRST ANSWER
After a short sale,you will have to wait 2 years. However if you did not have a 60 day late pay you may buy another home immediately. if you did a deed in lieu with extenuating cirsumstances it,s 2-7 years. no extenuating circumstances--4-7 years. however,your issue may be trying to find a lender who is willing to finance you. And yu need to be aware that in sme states you could be subject t oa deficiency judgment fr the difference between the loan amount and the amount paid.
