I own two lots. I am selling one lot to a builder and having that builder build me a new home on the other lot. Do I need a real estate agent?

If you're comfortable with the legal terms to property contract the sale of your property, then you can do it yourself without a real estate agent. Otherwise, it's best to get help with the process.

thank you. we are working with a realtor showing us existing houses in case we go that route - if we should build on our current property, then we would still need him for the settlement on the new house, correct? The difference being the "seller" is the builder and they have their own agent?
