I noticed that there are many homes for sale on Santa Fe Lane would anybody know why? What are the utility companies for this area?

Santa Fe Lane/Power Ranch is not too far from Chandler. Depending which location you choose, it might be 5-7 miles distance, I would say. Are you looking for a particular neighborhood in Chandler?

The homes in Power Ranch on Santa Fe Lane are no longer available. They are either waiting for bank approval on a short sale or just sales that are getting ready to close escrow.

There is a new listing in Stratland Estates on Santa Fe but this one is listed at over $300K.

There isn't normally any reason why you may find several homes around each other for sale. In our current market this happens sometimes due to the fact that many people were waiting for the market to increase so that they could sell without being a short sale and other homes on the market that are short sales. When a short sale home is on the market they will sit longer with a sign in front as they have to wait for the bank process to come to an agreement. This ends up having more signs in any given area that normally would have sold already in a shorter time frame and those signs would no longer be there.

Power Ranch is a very nice area and it is most likely be a co-incidence that there were several homes close by each other for sale.

Are you referring to Santa Fe Lane in Power Ranch? All the homes that you saw there are already under contract except one rental. Most of them are short sales waiting for bank approval.

Power Ranch is a great community with their own school, church, fishing lake, community pool etc. There are other homes for sale that are still available. Utilities are SRP for electric and City of Gilbert for water and trash. It's about 10 minutes from Power Ranch to Chandler depending on where in Chandler.

Do you have some of the addresses on Sante Fe that you are referring to? Some of the listings may have already sold or have contracts on them so the amount of listings that you see might be a little misleading. Gilbert and Chandler are neighboring towns are at the furthest points from the west side of Chandler to the East side of Gilbert would be 25 minutes away in heavy traffic.
