If you live in Central New Jersey check the Home News Tribune on Sunday in the Real Estate section.. If you can get a copy of the local newspaper "The Criterion" check there as well. The Criterion paper comes out on Wednesday and advertises Sunday Open Houses.

Also if you are only looking at Metuchen, they DO put signs out on Sunday mornings and typically the open houses run from 1 till 4 PM, so just cruise the (tiny) town and look for the signs. (usually with balloons too!!)
