I'm trying to find an estimate of the utility costs (heat, electric, water, sewer)
for a 3 bdrm/2bath single family house in Doylestown boro. I'd be grateful for any tips on where to obtain that kind of info.

Are you working with a realtor? If so, they should be able to ask the listing agent for at least an estimate from the sellers. If not, I would recommend working with someone, this is the least of the areas in which a solid agent could be helpful. Otherwise it's back to the guessing game others have eluded to. Best of luck to you and we're only an e-mail or call away if you need help.

It truly depends, as Tina said below, on what method of heating and cooling the house has. On top of that, you have to figure in the age and overall design of the home (based on age, materials, amount of insulation, etc) as Doylestown Borough has quite a mix of options at this point. Last, I'd factor in your personal preferences such as you and your family's ability to deal with heat and cold. How high do you turn up the heat where you are now? How low do you keep the air conditioning? All of these factors can really change any possible estimate, so I'd love to know more about your situation before providing a number.

Hello D.,
this is a tough question unless you know if the utilities are and which ones, are electric, gas, oil, etc. ball park would be winter-$250-400 per month for a 2000 sq ft home. Hope this helps. Also, if you find a home that you like, the owner can provide you with this documentation. T. Fri Apr 4 2008, 08:24 Web Reference: http://www.exeloncorp.com/ourcompanies/peco/pecores/
