I'm thinking of buying in Morton. School system? Traffic? Rocketed prices?

I'm thinking of buying in Morton. How is the school system there? How is traffic? I noticed that the prices have skyrocketed since 2000 - does anyone know why that happened (specifically the drastic increase in 2003)?

Serina, I currently live in Morton and my son attends the Springfield school district. The schools here are highly rated, traffic is normal in the residential area, and Morton is very close to rail transportation and a great commerical district.
Check out the philly.com school ratings report card for more information:

As for the price increase, this happened at the height of the subprime lending era. However, prices here are still very affordable in comparison to other areas. Please contact me if you have any additional questions. I would be happy to assist you in finding your new home.
