Ivey built many of the homes in the subdivision where I live. My neighbors have been very satisfied with his work and the Energy Star features. I loved his houses when we were looking back in 2004 in Brookwood Glen, but they were very closed in compared to the other homes in the subdivision which had more open floor plans. His homes, although beautifully built, felt very dated and had smaller, more divided up rooms compared to the other homes with the same square footage. Hopefully he has updated his products stylewise, but I must say that he seems to take great pride in making a perfect product. I noticed that he even builds in extra storage wherever possible when other builders would just leave wasted space in the wall. We were very impressed! If you have some input into the building process with him, maybe he would work from a more open plan if that is what you are looking for. We ended up buying in Brookwood Glen and love it here because it is very close to the Belair Exit of 20 making it convenient to get everywhere in the area. Best of luck!
