Hi Kim!

As licensed Realtors we aren't allowed provide information that can be used to steer buyers one way or another. However as a consumer and mother myself, I understand the importance of the questions you ask. I suggest calling the local police department to get the crime stats for this area. I also recommend speaking to the neighbors. They have nothing to loose and will more than likely address all your concerns. If you're interested in the school system, check out http://schools.pgcps.org for student test assessments. This will give information on the educational progress of students. I hope this information is helpful. If I can be of further help, please feel free to contact me.

Kim,

I have sold a couple of homes in Seat Pleasant and I haven't heard any complaints. The best thing for you to do is ride up and down the street during they day and night and check out the neighborhood. You can also check the crime statistics. Would you like me to send them to you? Visit my site and send me your email.
