I grew up in Palisades Park and in my opinion, its a good town in many ways. Easy commute into NYC, close to major highways, booming main street(Broad Avenue) are some of them. But it will all depend on what you consider important.~~

As for purchasing in Palisades Park, it's good to be close to Broad and Grand Avenue for commuting reasons and if you are looking at new constructions, check the taxes

Palisades Park is one of the towns along the Hudson that have become popular because of the proximity to Manhattan and there are a number of condos available in all prices ranges. These include quite a number of new ones. Some of these are the duplex type that is common in this area and appear to be quite reasonably priced.
